Tears of joy

It was a week before the end of term school holidays in 1998, my hubby suffered from an epilepsy, woke up with an ailment of severe headache followed by nausea.

A glady, muddy path joined my house to the main road. We were in the jungle surrounded with shrubs and tall sago palm trees. It was really a tough job to carry a man with the body weight of 80+kg lying unconcious on a stretcher. Here I have to thank the hospital attendants who had carried out their duties. Not forgetting to convey my thanks to my caring, beloved neighbour~Mr. Sebastian Kong too. After my hubby recovered from his sickness, they were both converted.

My hubby was admitted to the district hospital in Mukah. After observed for 5 days, the doctor could not diagnose what was wrong. My goodness! 14 kg gone! The vitality of a seed had gone! He could not do anything. My brain was in a whirl.

One of my friend, a staff nurse by the name of Norlita advised me to bring him to a specialist to do a CT Scan. I, as a kin of him needed to act immediately. My decision was to send him to Kuching Timberland Specialist Centre for scanning.
The flight operated by MAS twin-otter airplanes was fully booked for 2 consecutive days. We managed to get 2 seats only after 1 of the passanger cancelled the booking. He was in the wheelchair and on board by the help of a friend working in the small airport.

We reached Kuching at 1:20pm. My elder brother , Paul accompanied us to the specialist centre. CT Scan was done on my hubby's head. The result horrified me. There was an aneurysm in his right communicating artery in his brain and he had to undergo a surgery. I felt my flesh crawl.

It came to the reality, we were poor with only 4 digits figure left in the bank. The surgery needed 5 digit figure. It was indeed a big blow to me. Thanks God that my brother was by my side. He made a unanimous decision and sent two of us to Normah Specialist Centre where the only neurosurgeon was in service.

My hubby was admitted in ICU. The very next morning, he was sent to the operation room. I was waiting and praying with my eldest son for the success of the surgery. Praise the Lord! It was accomplished! He came out of the operation room with a big bandage round his head. I almost could not recognise him till the surgeon called me and told me that the operation was a sucess.

We came back home toMukah before Christmas. He joined us in the Christmas Eve Eucharistic Celebration. As we sang praises to God, my tears clouded my vision. They were tears of joy. He accepted Lord Jesus as his Saviour. Blessed Be the Lord!

Thanksgiving Day

Today is a thanksgiving day.
I have started reading friendster friends' blogs since last year.
I was curious, i would like to get a try.
Gosh, I started blogging at the beginning of this year.
Excited, astonished, satisfied...........

Last night I told Ajude~my housemate, an electrical engineer.
About the blogs I read in friendster.
I like reading blogs.
Blogs more interesting, free to write, free to share, free to......
Some of the blogs like Alvin Lau, Anna Lee and so on so on....
Theirs are very different from mine in friendster one
Theirs are fancy to me
with a lot of photos.

I am of old age 51, still believe that if i wana learn, i can make it.
Then I started questioning Ajude about blogging.
He exclaimed with laughters:"hah, too free, nothing to do,
flower gardening, feeding pets....."
I said: "Yes, before, but not now, prefer to learn new things."
He told me: you can go to www.blogspot.com.
Thats how I am here.
Thank you, Jude
God Bless You
